The chasuble Father Ricardo is holding for a guest to see was a gift from a parishioner; it was hand-embroidered by cloistered nuns, “Carmelitas,” from Mexico. I was present when it was given to him, and when I held it up for him to see fully, I caught a faint perfume of incense clinging to the fabric. Looks and even smells holy!
