Lucky you! But, do you get tornadoes where you live?
Don’t know that I’ve ever heard a whipporwill – at least to know that it was a whipporwill.
The snowdrops and one small patch of gold crocus are blooming in my yard. Right now it is snowing. 😦 Spring here means cold winds, snow/rain/snow, and mostly mud – usually into June. I can’t wait for the daffodils, lilacs, spirea, peonies, tulips, and iris to bloom. (The lilacs almost always get snowed on, tho.)
